If you love art and enjoy a walk
along the bayfront, you won’t want to miss Balboa Island Artwalk, Sunday
May 18th, from 9 am to 5 pm. This year 111 local and regional artists will exhibit
and sell their original artwork. The exhibit features paintings, fine jewelry,
sculpture, blown glass, photography and ceramics along the South Bayfront promenade
on Balboa Island. The fine art show stretches from Marine Avenue past the Ferry
Landing at Agate Avenue with local bands playing along the way. Several food concessions
will also add to the festivities. Collector 11th Annual Balboa Island Artwalk
t-shirts and posters are available for sale.
A great place to find that perfect gift! Admission is free.
Parking will be available near the Balboa Fun Zone and the Ferry will bring
you across the bay to Balboa Island. Parking is also available at the Newport
Dunes. Limited street parking is available on Balboa Island.
